Studio WAK participated in a moment of absence, a group exhibition held during Milan Design Week 2026.For this exhibition, we presented the Curved Coat Stand in a stainless steel version for the first time. This special edition was developed specifically for a moment of absence, bringing the object’s curved structure into a more reflective and material-focused expression.
The Curved Coat Stand is made from a single sheet of metal with minimal structural intervention. It begins with the idea that the moment a straight line becomes a curve, it also becomes functional: the lower curves form the legs, while the upper curves become hooks for coats, bags, or everyday objects.In this exhibition, the stainless steel version highlighted the material itself more clearly, with its reflective surface responding to the surrounding light and space.
